And this pretty much sums it up..

Safe Arrival

Yesterday morning Charlie and I took off for New York! We were flying from San Diego to Baltimore and then connecting to Islip. Due to some wind our flight was a little delayed so we were a little late for our connecting flight but luckily we and our five bags made it. Luckily since we were flying Southwest we were each allowed to check two bags for free! That just left Charlie's surf bag which set us back about 50$. Not too shabby. We arrived with only ten minute delay and were greeted by Josh and Katie at the airport. Once we got back Charlie was smothered by Johnson and Izzy. They were both so excited it was pretty funny. Charlie was sitting on the couch and Johnson was literally on two legs putting his paws on him for a good ten minutes. I think Charlie was just as excited to see Johnson :D

After we got back around midnight C & I decided to do a diner run since we had not eaten all day and started to talk about how good it would be to get on our flight...Sure enough we got it!

Today we had some delicious pizza pie with chicken parm! Mmmm we have been craving it for a while now! We even got to play a little tennis and take the pups out for a stroll.

Tomorrow Charlie is starting work! It seems like not very long ago that we were here. At least Charlie only has to work a week before we go on our vacation to the Williams lake house in Texas!! Both are excited for that!

Just an update for everyone

Quick Smile

I realize the cheesy-ness involved in these photos but in light of my dogs recent surgery, my love for sequence and charlie I thought these were some pretty amusing photos. If I am ever feeling down, I glance at these and can't help but laugh& smile. Thats what counts right?? 8-D

Sort of a Plan..

Well Charlie and I have finally figured out the next 4-6 months of our life! I am sure everyone loves how we can still do that...

We decided to ship my car out to New York for a great price with a company that has their own trucks and good reviews. They gave us an estimate of about 13-17 days which is great AND they were about 200$ cheaper than their competitors so CHECK

We bought our tickets to NY for May 12 with an airline that doesn't charge for the first 2 bags..Which is GREAT now my overpacking tendencies will not cost me extra CHECK

We are ready for the family vacation to the lake house in Texas May 29 [btw we can't wait to see everyone :-] CHECK

I have my summer nanny job and a few other places to apply part time to make some serious mula CHECK

We have a friend staying at a house in Costa Rica for two months and has invited us to come and stay rent free so I think we figured out our next vacation CHECK

Drive back to CA CHECK

Get apartment & go to school [ still rough draft hahah] CZECH!!

Thats all for now..keep you posted on the inbetween

Brentwood Part 2

As most of the family knows Charlie and I are back in Brentwood, California to help out his Grandma R. Because of the new addition (Addy Young) Barb, John and Rachel went back to Virginia to help out the Youngs, and so grandma wouldn't have to be alone Charlie and I are here helping her out. She is doing ok. She needs help remembering when to take medicine and eating proper foods to help her regain her strength. We are happy we could come here to help :) I took a few pictures from the last few days.. Our "walks" with Gilgo in the pink golfcart and Charlie and I's first attempt at making our own pizza [which actually turned out better then any frozen stuff we have bought but not comparable to a NY slice]!
I also took a picture of one of the golfcourse views from his Grandma's house..
I think its a pretty funny image..Charlie and I driving around a dog, in a pink golf cart in a retired community...a little out of place!!
I will try to take some pictures of all of us on Easter. Oh yeah..
Happy Easter everyone!

Math is OVER!!!!

Charlie needed two more math classes for his AA. Yesterday he took his final and got a 94% !!!!!!
He is relieved to have it over. It was pretty stressful at times because it was a condensed 8 week course. But my math genius finished and survived. Now he is one class away! I have a picture of him with his tutor Kiran.

Sequence

I don't think I had ever played sequence before I met Charlie and his family. Now it is a game that we play 3-5 times a week. Before I started to play I am sure I would have thought " thats a game for old maids" but that is not the case!!!

The Psillos's & Rathgebers have turned me onto a whole new competitive outlook to this game :D And now Charlie and I have passed it onto our friends. Maybe for more practice when the summer comes? Maybe the thrill of whooping each others butt? Or maybe pure love of the game! HA!! Anywho, we have managed to get our friends as addicted as us and our weekends have consisted of more sequences games then I would like to admit..

START PRACTICING PSILLOS....SUMMERS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!!! :D
