My Precious Hercules!
Here are a few pictures of our new canine best friend..although he compares no where close to our baby Johnson he is still a cutie. He is starting to grow on Charlie but he definitely had to prove himself..!!!!
And as you can see he is pretty much loved by all :D
Overdue SF pictures
Well here are some pictures from our trip to Brentwood. I am sorry I don't have any that are ACTUALLY taken in Brentwood or Antioch but it is the general area :)
These are from when Charlie and I took a day trip into San Francisco. We went to the Golden Gate surf spot, the wharf, aquarium, and a few other sites!

EXNAY on the MEXICAY
Well I promised a post a while ago about an upcoming trip Charlie and I were planning.
The reason I took so long to write about it is because it fell through!!! Sort of..
We were planning on traveling down to Oaxaca, Mexico. We have been in touch with a man there who started an English Academy. He was going to let us come to stay there for a week, for free w/ one meal a day, in exchange for 3-4 hours of working with his students. Well we were all gun ho about it until we started to add up the cost and do in depth research.
Our agenda was going to be to cross over to TJ and fly out of there (12 hour flights with connection to Juarez --YIKES! Then take a 4 hour bus ride to the town to Tehuantepec. Which is about a 20 minute drive from Salinas Cruz (Epic surf spot). So that whole journey not including getting around, renting boards, hiring guide, extra mula for food would set us back about 700$. We WOULD be willing to pay it IF we were going for a month or so but it is not the case. So we spoke to our friend Viktor and he told us we can come in a few months if we like. It is a great opportunity thats why i was reluctant to post-pon it but I think it is all for the best.
So now we are just trying to focus on CHarlies damn online math class and our plans for the rest of the year!
Once we figure something out we will post it. I have a few pictures from our stay at Charlie's Grandmother's house so check back soon!

Grandma Rathgeber & Brentwood, CA
Well before I had time to type about an upcoming trip Charlie and I were planning his mom Kathy called us to ask if we would keep Grandma Rathgeber company post surgery. We spoke to her Sunday and were at Gma's house by Monday night.
She was so happy to see us! Charlie and I are both really happy that we can be here and help her at this time. Uncle John picked us up from the airport, took us out for some great mexican food ( seal of approval from Rich ) and then warm greetings from Grandma Rathgeber.
This morning she went in for her surgery. We are hoping and praying it all goes well and she has a speedy recovery.
SHE IS IN GOOD HANDS!! :)
I'll post again to let everyone know how it is going.
